About Time Out Mission International

As a movement and ministry we are always on the move seeking to advance the Kingdom of God by developing new relationships with indigenous church leadership and assist in the work of restoring church unity, encouraging intimacy, empower the believer and reaching the world through love and creative mission. Part of our philosophy is to identify and empower key individuals who the Lord has called and prepared to champion the cause in their own nation and region. We do this in a number of ways, for example this could be through organising a Body and the Bride conference to address immediate regional church needs and where necessary begin the work of reconciliation and healing a broken regional body which can so often prevail. This work of reconciliation provides the corporate foundation upon which empowerment can come and effective mission can take place. Equally we are committed to prioritise the importance of the individual and encourage and empower people to reach their highest potential in God through a lifestyle of intimacy with God and spiritual discipline. It is this two-tier approach which characterises Time Out Mission and positions it as a relevant mission with a significant voice and contribution to make in these turbulent times.

How to Arrange a Visit from the TOM Apostolic Team

We are a missionary based ministry and are open to travel anywhere in the world where the Lord opens a door. We have no outside funding or support and therefore all of work is done with a total dependency upon God for the provision of finances. Because the ministry has grown significantly it has been necessary to adopt a specific policy on how mission trips should be arranged, and it is important for anyone wanting to arrange a visit from the TOM apostolic team to be aware of the steps involved. We have therefore put together a simple outline explaining what to do.

Recently I  was sent a wondeful text message from a dear brother in Kenya, Central Africa. This prophetic pronouncement I took and recieved it into my life and into my spirit and declared "It shall be so!"

Why not make it your acclamation for this week? This is a Word for the Week ....indeed!

Who speaks most into your life? What voice do you listen to the most? .....yourself!
We are always speaking to ourselves and consequently always listening to ourselves. We think. We internally discuss. We decide.

As we see the end of 2011, I am filled with a sense of deep gratefulness to God, for watching over me and my family this year. Like many around the world it has had it's share of difficulties and victories, but through it all, the Lord has been consistently kind and faithful, like He always said, behold I am with you always even to the very end of the age. We are in the closing hours of this year, and a new year 2012 will soon be here.

    The Meaning of Christmas

In a darkened world of continued human weakness, sin and depravity, how important it is as much now as ever to remember the blessed gift of our Lord Jesus Christ, who came as a light into the darkness, heralded by the angel who declared “Fear not, for behold I bring good tidings of great joy, which shall be for all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour who is Christ the Lord.”

"Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules." Colossians 2:20 (NIV 1984)

Are we living in the last days? I don’t know but we are certainly in the 'end times'....a season of extreme violence and international terrorism, corruption and great fear in the hearts of many. But we do not need as believers to live in any fear at all nor to live in ignorance of God's reality. The Bible does give us some information about what will happen “in the last days.”

“Desire” is a strong and emotive word, it represents something which is felt very deeply. I remember one day being asked,“What is the deepest desire of your heart?” I did not answer that question quickly or glibly.

Many Christians have unshakeable faith that God will deliver them safely through their many trials and anticipate arriving at heaven's door several decades from now. But some of those same Christians have a harder time trusting God to provide a job, income, or solution to a problem that is just days away. Why can we trust God with eternity but have a harder time trusting him for tomorrow?
This raises the question, "Is our life scripted by God or is it determined by our choices?" The answer is, yes.
