New Changes for TOM
Message from Mike of Time Out Mission International
It's been a while since I've posted onto our site, so thought I'd drop a quick note to say hello and to let you all know how precious you are. Some may know, that since my return from India it has been an extremely difficult time for me and my family. There are times in life when we go through the most testing times and it is all we can do to hang on to the Lord. This is how it has been for the last couple of months. But I know that our struggles have not been unique, as I am aware that our brothers and sisters around the world are also struggling and fighting the good fight of faith as we eagerly await the coming of our glorious King. It is times like these that we have to evaluate what really matters in life from the things that do not. To align ourselves with the Lord's will and surrender again to His Sovereignty, in the knowledge that "all things work together for the good." During this time, I have reflected not only upon my personal life but also had time to seek God over the future for Time Out Mission. There have been some very specific things which the Lord has spoken, and as we seek to journey our way forward, there are some changes which will be unfolding in the very near future. I won't share these now, but will release an update on this site within the next few days. And so my dear friends and family in Christ, let us stay united as we fix our eyes upon Jesus and run the race marked out for us. Let us not be discouraged by the trials we face, but understand that the greatest battle of all is not one of circumstance or situation, but is one of faith and faith alone. This is where the battle line is drawn. It is upon our faith that we stand or fall, so let us remain ever before God in humility and intimacy with Him, knowing the difference between our strength and His
